O'Carrolls Cakes will make pretty much any cake flavour and filling combination that you can imagine. Here is a small selection of some of the cake and filling flavours that we get asked for on a regular basis.
We are always experimenting with new designs and flavour combinations, so if you don't see your favourites on the list below or if you have your own ideas then send them through to us.
Allergen Information - all our cakes usually contain wheat, eggs, cream, milk and we bake in a kitchen where nuts are present. We provide allergen information on your specific order at the point of enquiry, at the point of ordering and at the point of collection or delivery. Please ask for more information if required.
Popular Flavour Combinations
Classic Victoria sponge - Italian meringue buttercream, jam and either fresh strawberries or fresh raspberries.
Coconut and Passionfruit Cake - Moist coconut cake with freshly made passion fruit curd and either our white chocolate truffle or vanilla buttercream.
Caramel Apple Sponge - Lightly spiced apple and pecan sponge, layered with caramel and toasted pecans.
Hazelnut Praline Cake - Vanilla or Chocolate cake layered with hazelnut praline buttercream, toasted hazelnuts and little bit of caramel or chocolate truffle.
Lemon Drizzle - Moist lemon sponge drizzled with lemon icing, lemon curd and a little bit of vanilla buttercream.
Chocolate and Guinness Cake - A very rich chocolate cake made with Guinness, and layered with a vanilla buttercream filling, and a splash of Baileys Irish Cream.
Triple chocolate cake - is alternating layers of chocolate cake with our chocolate truffle - choose from dark, milk and white chocolate truffle.
Banana, Caramel Pecan Cake - Super moist banana cake layered with caramel, toasted pecans and a lit bit of vanilla buttercream.
Lemon and blueberry sponge - this cake is made with with fresh blueberries baked into the sponge, then drizzled with lemon icing, and layered with blueberry jam and vanilla buttercream.
